LIVERPOOL talisman Mohamed Salah trains at 20 per cent to avoid injury, Alberto Moreno claims.
The Egypt international has been sensational for the Reds this season, with the ex-Chelsea winger netting 43 goals in all competitions under Jurgen Klopp.
Salah and Liverpool reached the Champions League final last night after beating Roma 7-6 on aggregate in their thrilling semi-final tie.
However, Reds ace Moreno says Salah is playing it safe heading into the final on Saturday, May 26.
“Salah is an incredible guy, he is doing an extraordinary year,” Moreno told reporters last night.
“I think that Salah trains at 20 per cent because he is afraid of getting injured.
“Salah now has Ramadan, I will eat and drink for him, something else I can not do.”
Ramadan begins on May 15 and runs until June 14, meaning Salah will be fasting leading up to the Champions League final.
Liverpool return to Premier League action on Sunday afternoon, when the Reds travel to Chelsea (4:30pm kick-off).
Salah, 25, will return to Stamford Bridge for the first time since he was sold by the Blues in 2016.
The winger struggled to impress under Jose Mourinho at Chelsea, with the Special One shipping Salah out on loan before selling him.
A win for Klopp’s side at Chelsea would all but secure a top four spot and Champions League football for next season.
