About two weeks after leading a nationwide protest against the killing of Christians by suspected Fulani herdsmen, the General Secretary of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Musa Asake, has died on Friday (today).
His brother and former member of the House of Representatives, Jonathan Asake, confirmed the death in an interview with The PUNCH.
“Yes, he died this morning, we are right now in the mortuary. I was with him yesterday (Thursday) in his house”, he stated.
The deceased, an indigene of Southern Kaduna, has been vocal in the defence of Christianity in Nigeria.
