Governor Eno Dumps PDP, Joins APC

Akwa Ibom State Governor Umo Eno has announced his defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Eno announced his defection on Friday, June 6, 2025.

The governor said the decision followed three months of wide consultation with critical stakeholders in Akwa Ibom State.
