Troops Bust Boko Haram’s Fuel Supply Line In Borno

Nigerian troops, Hadin Kai have intercepted a large scale fuel smuggling operation and raided a fuel station in Borno, aimed at supplying Boko Haram terrorists in the Gwoza and Cameroon border areas.

Acting on intelligence, the troops raided Hadiza and Sadiq Filling Station, where operators were caught loading fuel into 500 jerrycans.

Authorities described the act as a deliberate effort to aid enemies of the state.

According to sources, the suspects had been under surveillance for engaging in black market fuel sales, using modified vehicles to move fuel to terrorist-controlled areas.

The fuel would later be offloaded into jerrycans and smuggled to insurgents.

Several individuals were arrested during the bust and, during interrogation, admitted they were transporting the fuel toward Pulka and the Cameroon axis—strongholds of the Ali Ngulde Boko Haram faction.

They claimed not to know the exact recipients, stating they were only delivering to unspecified individuals from various locations.

Authorities have vowed to intensify efforts to cut off logistical support to insurgents.
