The Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Corps (LNSC) has arrested a suspect identified as Godwin, believed to be mentally unstable, in possession of 27 SIM cards in Epe.
The LNSC had been monitoring Godwin for over a month following reports from residents about his suspicious activities.
Godwin, from Delta State, had been staying in an abandoned security post. Residents noticed his unusual behavior, including frequent clothing changes and late-night phone calls.
LNSC operatives arrested him during a routine patrol on May 5 after he left his usual spot.
The authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding Godwin’s possession of the SIM cards.
