Suspended Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has made his first public appearance since his suspension from office.
Fubara was spotted attending a church service on Sunday at the headquarters of Salvation Ministries in GRA, Port Harcourt.
His appearance follows President Bola Tinubu’s declaration of a state of emergency in Rivers State on Tuesday, citing political tensions and security concerns.
As part of the emergency measures, Fubara, his deputy, Prof. Ngozi Odu, and all state House of Assembly members were suspended. Tinubu subsequently appointed Ibok-Ete Ibas as the Sole Administrator to oversee the state’s affairs for the next six months.
