
Legendary Oscar-winning US actor Gene Hackman and his wife Betsy Arakawa have been found dead in their New Mexico home.
According to report, the couple were found dead on Wednesday afternoon by the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff Adan Mendoza stated that there was no immediate indication of foul play.
The cause of death has not been provided. Also, rhe couple’s dog was also found dead.
Hackman, 95, was a two-time Oscar winner.
He is best known for his iconic portrayal of Jimmy “Popeye” Doyle in the 1971 crime thriller “The French Connection,” for which he won an Oscar for Best Actor.
Arakawa, 63, was a classical pianist.
