Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma has expressed confidence in the unity and strength of the All Progressives Congress (APC), stating that the party is “united, stronger, focused, and supportive of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
Uzodinma made this statement while briefing journalists at the end of the party’s caucus meeting, which President Tinubu presided over at the State House Conference Centre in Abuja on Tuesday.
The governor dismissed claims that the party operates as a one-man show, highlighting the APC’s diverse representation across six geopolitical zones and the presence of governors from various states at the meeting.
He emphasized the party’s inclusive nature, citing its structure, which includes multiple leadership positions and a hierarchical framework that ensures broad participation in decision-making processes.
Uzodinma also praised President Tinubu’s leadership, stating that the country has seen improved revenue generation, infrastructure development, social change, and economic growth.
He commended the president’s efforts in managing insecurity, noting that there is relative peace in Zamfara State and farmers have returned to their farms in the Southeast.
Other key party leaders in attendance at the meeting included Vice President Kashim Shettima, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and APC National Chairman Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje.(NAN)
