US Airline Delta To Give $30,000 To Each Passenger On Toronto Crash Plane

A Delta Air Lines plane crashed while landing at Toronto’s main airport on Monday, but fortunately, none of the 80 people on board were killed.

The plane which departed from the US city of Minneapolis, Minnesota, hit the runway hard at Toronto’s main airport and flipped upside down.

A fireball and thick plumes of black smoke engulfed the plane as it skidded to a halt on its roof but none of the 80 people on board were killed.

The carrier has announced that it will offer $30,000 to each passenger as a gesture of goodwill.

According to Delta, 21 passengers were injured in the accident, with only one still hospitalized as of Wednesday morning.

Paramedic services reported treating various injuries, including back sprains, head injuries, anxiety, and headaches.

The Transportation Safety Board of Canada has launched an investigation into the crash, with assistance from the US Federal Aviation Administration, Delta, and Mitsubishi.

The incident is the latest in a series of recent air incidents in North America.

Delta emphasized that the $30,000 offer has no strings attached and does not affect the rights of passengers. Dramatic footage of the crash has been circulating on social media, showing the plane hitting the runway hard and flipping upside down.
