Portable Surrenders: Singer Turns Himself In To Lagos Police After Being Declared Wanted

Singer Habib Okokiola, popularly known as Portable, has turned himself in to the Nigerian Police’ State Criminal Investigations Department in Lagos. This comes after he was declared wanted by the Ogun State command of the Nigeria Police .

Portable’s surrender is in response to allegations made against him by the Ogun state government.

He is accused of attacking officials of the Ogun state urban development agency who were at his bar in Otta to carry out official duties.

A viral video showed Portable using planks to hit one of the officials, while others fled for their lives.

Prior to his surrender, Portable had made various excuses, including claims of being mentally challenged and under spiritual attacks.

He even claimed to be receiving treatment at a psychiatric hospital in Abeokuta.

In a recent development, Portable has tendered an apology to the Ogun State government, expressing regret for his actions and seeking forgiveness.
