Nigeria’s National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, has strongly condemned the Canadian Embassy’s decision to deny visas to Chief of Defence Staff, Christopher Musa, and other top military officers.
This incident occurred despite an invitation for Musa and his team to attend an event in Canada honoring war veterans.
Musa expressed his disappointment, stating that half of the delegation was denied visas.
However, he emphasized the need for Nigeria to “stand strong as a nation” and not be taken for granted.
Ribadu commended Musa for speaking out, saying, “Thank you for the courage to say Canada denied you visas. They can go to hell.”
He highlighted Nigeria’s strength and resilience, emphasizing the importance of collaboration among security agencies to address the country’s challenges.
