The Ogun State Government has sealed an uncompleted hotel construction project owned by Nigerian musician Habib Okikiola, popularly known as Portable.
The action comes after Portable and his staff allegedly assaulted officials of the Ogun State Planning and Development Permit Authority (OGPDPA) at his bar in Ota.
Portable denied the assault allegations, claiming the officials stormed his bar and assaulted his customers and apprentices.
The hotel project, which Portable promoted on social media, is reportedly located near a mosque in Ogun State.
A viral video shows officials locking and shutting the entry to the property.
Portable appears to have blamed his father for not intervening, despite receiving financial support from him.
