J. J Okocha said he doesn’t owe Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) nothing and he would not apologize over his comments, challenging the football body to stop politics in football affairs.
The ex football legend noted: “All am saying is that Politics shouldn’t be played with our football, because it is the only ties that keep Nigeria as one, our only source of Joy. So, if you politicize it, what will be our hope for Tomorrow? Okocha asked
Speaking further, he said, “we can’t continue to keep quiet while things continue to spoil the more, so If it’s NFF’S decision to take me to court, so be it.
“Series of messages that I have received are urging me to apologize to Nigeria Football Federation, and my question is for what? Is it for demanding a better committee? Don’t we have the right for freedom of speech again in Nigeria? No, I can’t apologize, it’s my own personal opinion, We must be free and allowed to express our minds.” He remarked
